Goods Offered a)
Second Hand/Used Equipment i) Goods are offered as they are, any new specifications shown are an indication of the equipment as supplied when new and should be used only as a guide to its suitability for the purpose you wish to use it for. ii) Extra Accessories supplied above standard features will be noted separately iii) No support, manuals or drivers are supplied and must be obtained by the buyer at the buyers cost (Please also read Support and Manuals & Drivers sections) iv) Any prices quoted in regard to the goods original as new price are only mentioned as an indication of the perceived value when the sale is concluded. v) Definitions: 1. Condition a) As New: This item is is nearly perfect; very few, if any, flaws but is NOT NEW b) Excellent: This item is second hand and functions like new in all areas with few cosmetic flaws. c) Good: This item shows condition consistent with its age and expected use (Item will have wear consistent with age and use, which may include some of the following, minor scratches, minor blemishes such as LCD fading, chassis discoloring; it will be 100% functional) d) Fair: This item shows wear more than expected from an item with its age and use. Will have flaws similar to "good" but these will be more than expected for item use and age. e) AS IS: This item has serious flaws or is untested. These items are NOT returnable for ANY reason SPECIAL ITEM: All LCD's (Even new ones) can have up to 3 pixels faulty as per manufactures specification b)
New Equipment i) Goods are offered according to manufacturers specifications ii) Any prices quoted in regard to the goods original as new price are only mentioned as an indication of the perceived value when the final selling price is arrived at c)
Equipment not covered by these terms and conditions i) Arrangements are to be made directly with the owner and are not covered by any other terms and conditions listed here. 2)
Manuals and Drivers a)
Second Hand/Used Equipment i) Manuals are generally not available, but if they are, will be stated in initial description. If a manual is needed and we can source one, an additional charge will apply. This charge will be dependant and variable according to whether it is a photocopy or original copy ii) Drivers are generally not available from us but we will attempt to assist in providing a guide to where you can source them. If they are provided by us it will be stated in initial description b) New Equipment i) Manuals and drivers are as supplied by the manufacturer. 3)
Support a)
Second Hand/Used Equipment i) No support is implied or given, but reasonable endeavor will be given to assist buyers. ii) Driver installation support should be directed to the relevant manufacturer b)
New Equipment i) Reasonable support will be given, limited by our knowledge of the product. Support cannot be extended to 2nd party equipment. Manufacturer support might be available depending on product status. 4)
Warranties a)
Second Hand/Used Equipment i) No warranties are implied or given or will be given. Returns are, totally, at our discretion and require a payment of 20% restocking fee. All shipping to be paid by the customer. ii) There are no returns available for items shipped incomplete, untested, AS IS or for items requiring the use of third party components with the potential to damage the machine. (Example: A scanner sold without a power supply) b)
New Equipment i) Manufacturers warranties apply and vary according to product. Initial product description will provide further information. 5)
Freight All freight and packing costs will be at the buyers expense, prices quoted will include insurance up to $100, for registered items only, any extra insurance required should arranged by yourself. Unless otherwise arranged, freight and packing, will be through our preferred carrier, if you wish to arrange your own carrier and packaging, then it will be classed as a pick up and you should make all necessary arrangements, including packaging and Insurance, and advise us of, an acceptable, pick up time. You should arrange insurance for your, shipping, product. No responsibility taken for uninsured items. 6)
Payment All payments must be made prior to dispatch or pickup. We accept personal & company cheques (subject to clearance), money orders, cash (registered mail if posting), direct deposit, Credit Cards (Visa, Bankcard and MasterCard) 7)
Disclaimers No responsibility will be taken for the suitability of purpose of any equipment or any damage caused by the equipment not being compatible with other devices or unsuitable for the purpose you are using the equipment or any damage caused through negligence a)
Second Hand/Used Equipment i) Any specifications quoted are supplied in good faith and it is up to the prospective buyer to satisfy themselves that these specifications are correct for the model being sold before purchasing the goods ii) All equipment is sold on the understanding that it is not new and therefore subject to normal fair wear and tear b)
New Equipment i) Specifications quoted are supplied according to manufacturers specifications. ii) No responsibility will be taken for changes to manufacturers specifications made by the manufacturer |
